Recognizing the important role of today's teachers in preparing tomorrow's work force, ConocoPhillips is pleased to announce the implementation of a teacher awards program."Criteria prepared by the National Council of Chief State School Officers is suggested for the selection process:

Meredith is working to develop a K-12 spiral curriculum and vertical team to formulate labs and activities for each grade level that demonstrates science concepts. She not only participates in the TXESS Revolution, but is also a member of a Science Quality Assurance Grant with the University of Houston-Victoria.2. Colorado River Foundation - Kids on the River Honoree:Meredith was nominated by the LCRA CRWN program for 12 years of regular monitoring of 3 sites on the Lower Colorado River rivershed. Over these 12 years Meredith had taken monthly trips with over 1000 junior high students teaching them how to do water quality testing and the importance of water quality to the wildlife as well as man.
